Minimum value guide: we usually only buy or take in guitars with an estimated resale value of £300 or more. Every pre-owned guitar needs time spent checking, setting up, cleaning, photographing, listing and warrantying before resale, so lower-value items are often not viable for us to quote on.

Please note: We’re sorry, but we are currently no longer purchasing pre-owned amplifiers or guitars from custom builders. This helps us focus on the brands and products we know best, allowing us to provide quicker valuations and ongoing support for our customers.
Required — this helps us assess collection, courier and distance considerations.
Required — please tell us the lowest price you would realistically accept. This helps us quickly assess whether we’re likely to be close enough to make an offer. Please bear in mind we need to allow for setup work, servicing, resale time, VAT and a reasonable margin.

FAQ

Is the quote guaranteed?

Quotes are based on the details/photos provided and are subject to inspection. If anything differs, we’ll discuss it with you before proceeding.

Is there a minimum value?

As a guide, we usually only buy or take in guitars with an estimated resale value of £300 or more. Lower-value pre-owned gear is often not viable once setup, servicing, photography, listing and warranty costs are taken into account. Sorry, we no longer buy pre-owned amps.

Why do you ask for my best price?

Your best price helps us quickly see whether we are likely to be close enough to make an offer. Please bear in mind that we need to allow for setup work, servicing, marketing, resale time, VAT/tax and a reasonable margin.

How fast do you pay?

Typically within 24–48 hours after inspection, via bank transfer.

Do you buy guitars with faults?

Yes — just tell us what’s going on. We can usually still make an offer, provided the item is still viable for resale.

What photo should I upload?

Please upload one clear full front photo of the guitar from headstock to body. If we need more detail, we’ll ask after reviewing it.
