Custom designed Fret-King Soapstack™ stacked soap bar pickups, created by Trev Wilkinson give the Eclat Standard a powerful but easily controlled voice which speaks with definition, power, punch and an edge fully variable from growling attack to pure, sweet blues.

For maximum performance versatility and broad tonal palette, the Eclat Standard features a master volume with latching 'Kill Switch', and Fret-King’s uniques Varicoil™ control, which progressively winds the selected stacked Soapstack pickups down to single coil, all providing a range of tones which go from searing, saturated, full bore neck position sustain, redolent with classic rock tone, all the way to glassy, classic clearly defined single coil bridge tones, with a range of tonal variation along the way that make the Eclat Standard an almost uniquely versatile and useable guitar.

Control Functions:
• Three-way toggle selects neck, both, or bridge pickup.
• Master Volume with Push-Push latching kill switch.
• Master Tone.
• Varicoil progressively rolls either or both Soapstack pickups from double coil to single coil.

Bridge:

Enhancing that tonality is the outstanding Wilkinson post mounted GTBCR combined wraparound bridge/tailpiece. A masterpiece of design, the GTBCR is constructed from solid lightweight aluminium, which lifts the higher end of the tonal spectrum, adding zip and sparkle to an already powerful fundemantal tone. The GTBCR also features two stages of intonation adjustment, with a separate adjustable, lockable saddle for the 2nd and 3rd strings, ensuring spot on intonation with a wide variety of string types and gauges.
